Alicia McKay started working for Walker Supply, Inc. in the Summer of 2013 as an Intern in support of her undergraduate studies. She concluded her undergraduate studies at Slippery Rock University and continued on to obtain her Master’s in Business Administration. Through this time she was working for Pitt Ohio Trucking in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania as well as working for O’Backpack Children’s Foundation 501c.3, which is a non-profit helping children entering the foster system in Alleghany and surrounding counties. Upon the completion of her Master’s studies in December of 2015, she continued her work with the non-profit while moving to Michigan. Upon moving to Michigan, she took a full-time job with a Healthcare IT company based in Dublin, Ireland. This was a great experience to gain more marketing and business experience, as well as being given many opportunities for professional growth and travel.
Alicia married her husband Spencer in June 2016 in Michigan. The past year, they had a lot of changes happen. She and Spencer moved back to Pennsylvania in the fall of 2017. She started working for Walker Supply again, as well as O’Backpack Children’s Foundation 501c.3. “I really love working for Walker Supply and O’Backpack Children’s Foundation! Both organizations are invested in what they do and dedicated to genuinely serving their customers to ensure their needs are met, if not exceeded. I’m honored to be able to contribute to the effort!” said Alicia.
Alicia and Spencer love spending time with their Boston Terrier Stella, traveling to new places, enjoying their time outside biking, hiking, and enjoying the weather. In the winter they both teach ski lessons at the local mountain on weekends. They also enjoy working on their home doing minor and major home improvements. This year is a little different for them, as they are expecting their first baby this fall. They are excited for this new chapter of their life, and we couldn’t be more happy for them. We simply can’t wait to welcome the little one to the Walker Supply family!
